Negative prompt
Stating what should not appear, as a distinct input rather than a phrase inside the prompt.

It substitutes user text for the empty string normally used as the unconditioned reference during sampling: the sampler compares an image denoised toward the prompt against one denoised toward the negative prompt, and steers away from the latter. Occupying its own slot, it costs nothing from the prompt's budget.
